About Firemind Author
Director, Business Development, Firemind
Christopher has spent his career turning complex technology into outcomes organisations can actually measure.
He started as a cloud architect at IBM, where he spent nearly seven years leading cloud migration programmes before moving to Nordcloud. At Nordcloud, he crossed from architecture into commercial leadership: first as Team Lead for Architecture, then as Engagement Director running large enterprise accounts end to end, then as Country Sales Lead for Germany. He has led transformation programmes in financial services and other regulated industries where the margin for error is low and the scrutiny is high. He also lectures at IU International University of Applied Sciences, teaching future IT leaders how to evaluate emerging technology for business. Few people can move between the architecture conversation and the board presentation. Christopher does both.
He does not separate the vision from the execution.
Today, Christopher is Director of Business Development at Firemind, building the German market. He works with enterprise IT organisations on the shift to autonomous operations, making the case for what becomes possible when routine IT work stops consuming engineering capacity. His writing covers what it takes to move from intention to production: the decisions, the organisational realities, and the outcomes that become possible when IT stops being reactive.
What Christopher writes about
Christopher writes for IT leaders and senior decision-makers in financial services and regulated industries who are evaluating what AI and autonomous operations mean for how their organisations run. His pieces cover:
- What it takes to bring autonomous operations into regulated industries, where governance and security are non-negotiable
- The gap between AI strategy and operational reality, and what it takes for organisations to close it
- How enterprise IT organisations in Germany and across Europe are approaching the shift to autonomous operations
- The architecture and commercial decisions that determine whether large-scale IT programmes deliver or stall
