Anna-Riitta has spent her career at the intersection of storytelling and commercial performance.
She has worked across startups, scale-ups, and large enterprises, running marketing across its full range: from traditional advertising and brand strategy to digital performance, content, and SEO. Her industry experience spans manufacturing, SaaS, retail, e-commerce, and media. She has launched brands from scratch, managed multi-million euro marketing budgets, and built commercial foundations for businesses at every stage of growth. Her radio campaigns won Finland’s best radio spot award. She has founded and sold two companies.
She does not separate creativity from results.
Today, Anna-Riitta leads global marketing at Firemind as CMO, with a particular focus on bringing AI into marketing operations. She is rethinking how modern marketing teams work, what they automate, and how they scale. Valve – Business Director, Commercial Excellence & Growth (August 2024 to February 2025)
Led commercial excellence and growth strategy across Valve’s business units, following an earlier engagement as Business Transformation Consultant.
Brandcrafty Oy – CEO & Co-Founder (December 2019 to May 2024)
Founded and led a boutique business development agency exclusively serving SaaS and subscription businesses. Specialised in market expansion, concept validation, and growing Customer Lifetime Value. Produced campaigns that won Finland’s best radio spot award. Sold the company in 2024.
GOODIEBOX – Country Manager, Finland & Sweden (December 2019 to June 2020)
Established Goodiebox’s market presence in Finland and Sweden. Developed and implemented the full go-to-market strategy for both markets.
Boxie Oy – Founding Partner & Managing Director (January 2016 to December 2019)
Co-founded Boxie, a Finnish subscription commerce company built on a strategic acquisition. Led a full rebrand and scaled revenue from €1.1 million to €2 million before successfully negotiating the company’s acquisition by Danish firm Goodiebox ApS.
Sanoma Media Finland – Head of Operations, Sanoma Games (2009 to November 2015)
Spent seven years at Sanoma Games, progressing from Marketing Manager to Development Manager to Head of Operations. Ran the Games business unit across marketing, product development, B2B sales, and daily operations for Finland’s largest casual gaming and fantasy sports platforms.
