Addictive Pixel’s industry-leading client needed a platform to store, manage, and design 3D scenes with robust user authentication and role management. The system had to be scalable, adaptable for future clients, and cost-efficient - while supporting complex visual editing features.
Solution
Firemind built a scalable AWS-based 3D scene management platform using AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon S3, and Amazon CloudFront for secure storage and delivery. Amazon DynamoDB and RDS enabled role-based user authentication, asset tracking, and centralised management.
The 3D editor, built with ThreeJS, pulled assets from S3 via signed URLs, while rendering tasks ran in AWS containers. CloudWatch provided monitoring and performance visibility. This cloud-native setup streamlined 3D scene creation, improved access control, and reduced operational costs by 40%.
